Too much information or too little information- both are hazardous equally! These days there is a rift of “be positive” movements everywhere. Meet a person and they will advise you on how you can be optimistic, confident, positive and what not! While these things always try to show you the bright side of their discussion, they never throw light on the aspect that lets the darkness prevail! Have you ever thought if the brightness was so easy to spread, why does darkness make space at all? There must be some reasons associated with it, right?

There are reasons to see negative as negative while we can call it just the flip side of a coin. People easily lecture you about adopting self-love techniques in life but have they ever told you where and how to put a limit to it? Probably not. It is because we have left one loose end towards being positive and never saw the other aspect of it. Let us learn through this article now that how self-improvement techniques must be having some negative impact in your life so that you can balance your life with everything that prevails around you:

  1. Do not judge others:

In the first place, it is simply not possible to not judge others because someone told you to do so! However we can adopt a point of view for keeping a space of understanding, judgment will prevail. Moreover, it’s really hazardous to not judge someone or something around you. What will happen to your instinct and intuition if you stop judging? How will radical and rational thinking improve if judgment ceases to exist? It is needed to judge a person, situation or thing the way it gets presented to you in life, however, you can just keep the judgment to yourself unless you have found proof to your thoughts.

  1. Help your fellows:

There is a swam of “empathy” and “sympathy” based messages that suggest you help those in trouble or in need. If not that people suggest you show some empathetic feelings towards the people in need. But how can you balance your nature to be ‘help-ready’ to ‘include self-love exercises’? When we practically help others we need to put our own ‘self’ aside to take out some time for them even if it means to give a teaching lesson to someone. Every responsibility in life needs to come with follow-up action.

  1. Practice self-love:

We have been looking for articles on how to practice self-love but we rarely talk about the realms of self-love. Self-love should come with self-restraint so that we know where to stop the love convert into a self-obsession. This feeling of control and restraint can be accommodated by including a few balancing activities in your life.

Meditations for self-love or control can really be helpful if we want to exercise a balanced approach in life.

Although life itself is not perfect thinking too much about being positive and perfectionist is going to ruin the fun. Let things come your way. All you need to aim is to have fun in your stride and make some space for a little acceptance. We must not aim to make things perfect but easy.
