The late king of England was expecting a boy child, but as it goes, nobody can predict the future accurately. After the birth of a girl child, the king and the Queen were deeply disappointed and started worrying about the future of their diplomacy, monarchy and most importantly, the throne.

Even after days of regret, the royal couple followed all the traditional practices and rituals to accept the infant as their daughter officially. They named her Elizabeth, and since then, the historians got the identity of this girl.

Elizabeth the I of the British kingdom, daughter of King Henry VIII, was never intended to be the Queen of England and Ireland as well, but after the death of her siblings, she became one of every of England’s greatest rulers. She swore off men and was an excellent leader who proved that a girl could do the task even as well as a man.

History of Queen Elizabeth

After the execution of Elizabeth’s legal mother, her father married other women named ‘Catherine Parr’. Catherine Parr came up as the third wife of King Henry VIII, and she succeeded Anne from the Queen’s post following after the latest execution in May 1537.

Apart from this, the third queen made sure that little Elizabeth should be highly educated and get proper training from her caretakers. After all, she was staying away from king henry’s palace. Since when King Henry VIII died, the princess half-brother ‘Edward’ become take up the throne and became the next king of the European continent while she would live with mother Catherine. 

Further then, Edward died in 1533, which suggests that Mary (the older sister of Elizabeth) handled the next most powerful position of Queen. And the history was repeated, yes, even she died due to serious illness. 

Finally, the time had come, and Elizabeth becomes the Queen of England at the age of 25. Elizabeth I was supporting the idea of protestants, due to which the catholic influence reduced radically in the region of her monarchy.

While maintaining some catholic elements, the Queen started to focus on the economic development of the overall empire. The motive ofQueen Elizabeth was to capture and expand the kingdom in no time.
