Downtown Tulum is where you will find hostels, bed and breakfast, some hotels, Airbnb, supermarkets, convenience stores, local restaurants, and a more homey experience which makes it the cheapest part to stay in Tulum, and if your budget is tight I recommend you to look for an option in this area.

As I was telling you the hotel zone of Tulum is located about 15 minutes by bike from the town of Tulum, and you will find the most luxurious hotels, resorts, and restaurants in the area, there are of all prices but most are places with high luxury, comfort and are dedicated to giving you a much more luxurious experience. Tulum’s beaches, both private and public, are located in this area.
