8 mistakes you must avoid
We frequently forget to check the absorbency of the wall before beginning to apply wallpaper. The wallpaper is applied to an unsuitable surface, fails to adhere, and peels off immediately. Check the porosity of the wall, which should be normally absorbent.
Take a wet sponge and press it against the wall. The wall is not absorbent if the drop falls quickly. It is an absorbent surface if the drop gradually fades and slides gently down the wall.
Before they can be hung, traditional wallpapers must be covered with glue on the reverse side. A soaking time is required prior to this step, which varies depending on the glue. It enables the glue to penetrate the paper. We frequently avoid these valuable minutes when we are in a hurry.
Calculating the number of rolls to purchase is not an easy task. There are some guidelines to follow. Calculators can also be used to obtain an automatic result.
