In order to facilitate access to the city center for people with disabilities, the city offers a range of parking services to users, in accordance with the commitments of the City and Disability Charter. With the Place PMR and many more setups, the options for the people with disability are on the rise.

Use Of Reserved Places

The use of parking spaces for people with disabilities or reduced mobility is strictly reserved for holders of the European parking card (CES) or the mobility inclusion card (CMI) marked “parking for disabled people”, in valid.

The CMI is issued by the president of the departmental council on the appreciation of the commission on the rights and autonomy of disabled people (CDAPH).

The parking card issued to persons covered by the military invalidity pensions and war victims pension code under the legislation for war veterans and invalids is examined by the departmental services of the national office for veterans and victims (ONACVG) and issued by the representative of the State. (These audiences should move to the IJC later)

The card must be highlighted behind the windshield , passenger side , so that the front side is easily seen by the control officers when they are facing the vehicle.

Did you know?

The GIC-GIG macaron, delivered definitively, no longer has any value. The user could therefore be fined if he continues to use it and occupy parking spaces reserved for disabled people with this invalid title. From now on, you must hold a valid European parking card (European Community model or other regulatory model in force in countries outside the European Community) or the inclusion mobility card.

This is the original document that must be placed behind the windshield. Despite a good intention to preserve the quality of the original parking card, it is forbidden to affix a photocopy which would be taken for a forgery by the control services and therefore liable to punishment.

Request A Space Reserved For Disabled People

If you encounter particular parking difficulties in your neighborhood or that no reserved space is located near your home, you can request the Town Hall of your municipality of residence for a request for space creation.

Your written and reasoned request must be addressed to the Direction of territory of your district or to the Town hall of your commune of residence.

Your request to create a reserved space must be accompanied by a copy of your inclusion mobility card (or of your European parking card if it is still valid) and your home address. An opportunity study and then, if necessary, a technical feasibility study, will be carried out before final validation. Whatever the mayor’s decision, you will receive a response in writing.

It is free on roads

It is intended for holders of the European Parking Card and holders of the Inclusion Mobility Card with the mention “parking for disabled people”, valid.
