"It feels great," the three-time All-Star told reporters about his scheduled return against the Knicks in Oklahoma City. "I am rested, happy to be back and to go out and try to get a win. …

Greg Chalmers of Australia tees off on the second hole during the third round of the Northern Trust Open golf tournament at Riviera Country Club in Los AngelesBy Nick Mulvenney SYDNEY (Reuters) – Australian Greg Chalmers held a one-shot lead at the halfway stage of the Australian Open on Friday but defending champion Rory McIlroy was well-positioned for the weekend in a share of second place. Chalmers, twice a former winner of his national open, snared his seventh birdie on the last green for a five-under-par 66 to edge ahead of a congested leading pack at five-under for the tournament. …

Lions boost playoff hopes with mauling of Bears

NFL: Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions(Reuters) – The Detroit Lions' bid to snap a two-year playoff drought was given a massive boost after a 34-17 win over the Chicago Bears on Thursday halted a two-game skid and moved them into a share of the division lead. Boston Verizon FiOS subscribers lose access to local Fox channel

(Reuters) – Boston-area Verizon customers found themselves cut off from one kind of Thanksgiving bird on Thursday: the Eagles football team. The 18-year-old’s efforts at the Khon Kaen Golf Club in northeast Thailand were enough for a share of third at the $500,000 event, one shot behind early pace-setters S.S.P. Chowrasia and Anirban Lahiri of India. …
