Cavaliers move on, maybe without Love and Smith (Yahoo Sports)

BOSTON, MA - APRIL 26: Kevin Love #0 of the Cleveland Cavaliers reacts after an injury against the Boston Celtics in the first quarter in Game Four during the first round of the 2015 NBA Playoffs on April 26, 2015 at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. (Photo by Jim Rogash/Getty Images)The Cavaliers are bruised, not beaten or broken. Cleveland completed a four-game sweep in Boston on Sunday, dispatching the scrappy Celtics 101-93 in a Game 4 that at times looked more MMA than NBA. ”There’s a lot of things up in the air with our team right now,” said LeBron James, who has never lost a first round matchup in 10 trips to the playoffs. ”No excuses.” Love dislocated his left shoulder in the first quarter, hurting it when he got tangled while chasing a loose ball with Celtics forward Kelly Olynyk, who clamped down on Love’s arm and pulled so hard it popped out of the shoulder joint.

After Wizards get sweep, Pierce takes jabs at Raptors, Drake (Yahoo Sports)

At age 37, Paul Pierce is having a grand ol’ time on this playoff run with the Washington Wizards. So before turning his attention to whoever his team’s second-round Eastern Conference opponent will be in a week or more – either No. 1 seed Atlanta or No. 8 Brooklyn – Pierce wanted to relish Washington’s sweep of the Toronto Raptors. So within a couple of hours after the Wizards completed the franchise’s first 4-0 win in a best-of-seven series by beating Toronto 125-94 on Sunday night, Pierce’s Twitter and Facebook accounts were in full troll mode, replete with doctored photos. One showed an image of Pierce sitting on the iconic ”Game of Thrones” iron-sword seat, under the headline ”King in the North,” a play off the Raptors’ ”We the North” slogan.

(Photo by Glenn James/NBAE via Getty Images)J.J. Barea last started a playoff game when he helped boost Dallas’ run to a championship four years ago. Al-Farouq Aminu had never been on the floor for the opening tip in a postseason game. They helped give the Mavericks at least one more game in a first-round series with Houston. Barea and Aminu recorded their first career postseason double-doubles to go with 31 points from Monta Ellis, and Dallas avoided elimination with a 121-109 victory over the Rockets on Sunday night.

Chris Paul had 34 points and seven assists, Blake Griffin added 20 points and 19 rebounds, and the Clippers beat the San Antonio Spurs 114-105 on Sunday to even their first-round series at two games apiece. The Clippers, who bounced back from a 100-73 loss in Game 3, host Game 5 on Tuesday. Cavs sweep Celts as James scores 27 in 101-93 victory (Yahoo Sports)

BOSTON, MA - APRIL 26: LeBron James #23 of the Cleveland Cavaliers shoots against the Boston Celtics in Game Four of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals during the 2015 NBA Playoffs on April 26, 2015 at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. (Photo by Brian Babineau/NBAE via Getty Images)LeBron James dribbled out the final 20 seconds while players embraced as the Cavaliers completed a sweep of the Celtics. It may have been the calmest, most congenial 20 seconds of a physical game that left two players with potentially serious injuries and Cleveland wondering if Kevin Love would be ready for the next round. One thing is certain: Love was angry after Cleveland beat Boston 101-93, a game he left midway through the first quarter Sunday with a dislocated left shoulder. Kelly Olynyk had his right arm entangled with Love’s left arm – a move Love called ”bush league” and intentional- as both went for a loose ball.

(Photo by Steve Dykes/Getty Images)Stung by the loss of point guard Mike Conley, the Grizzlies gritted out their latest victory over the Trail Blazers. Memphis took a 3-0 lead in its first-round playoff series against Portland with a 115-109 victory on Saturday night. The Grizzlies were already without backup point guard Beno Udrih, who sprained his right ankle in Game 2 and sat out Saturday’s game. Game 4 is set for Monday in Portland.

Bayless’ layup at buzzer gives Bucks 92-90 win over Bulls (Yahoo Sports)

MILWAUKEE, WI - APRIL 25: Jerryd Bayless #19 of the Milwaukee Bucks shoots the game winning layup against the Chicago Bulls in Game Four of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals during the 2015 NBA Playoffs on April 25, 2015 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, February. (Photo by Gary Dineen/NBAE via Getty Images)Jerryd Bayless cut right along the baseline, leaving Derrick Rose a couple of steps behind. It was just the sliver of an opening Bayless needed to put up a game-winning layup at the buzzer. Bayless’ basket gave Milwaukee a rousing 92-90 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday, drawing the upstart Bucks within 3-1 in their Eastern Conference playoff series. We found ourselves with a ‘W,”’ coach Jason Kidd said.
