We really felt like this was a tune-up game going into Wednesday against Atlanta.” The Raptors open the regular season Wednesday night against the Hawks at Air Canada Centre, where Toronto will play nine of its first 12 games.

Despite Memphis pulling within 94-91 near the 4-minute mark, the Grizzlies were unable to get closer.

Chris Christie signed a law on Oct. 17 that effectively repeals the state’s ban on sports wagering and allows it at racetracks and casinos. ”This is a temporary order while the core issues surrounding sports wagering in New Jersey are fully considered by the court,” Christie spokesman Michael Drewniak said in a statement.

The team announced Friday that Oladipo suffered a facial fracture in practice Thursday and will undergo surgery Saturday. The injury occurred when Oladipo took an inadvertent elbow during a practice drill. Oladipo was taken second overall by the Magic in 2013 and made the NBA All-Rookie first team last season.
